Silkscreened Illustrations
These are some personal illustrations I did using silk screening. I love silkscreen, and I like everything a little off-register. There's something romantic about a process that's imperfect. You can see the craft and work that went into it. You can see the layers.
Unrequited Love
These next two silkscreens are an experiment in hand lettering and illustration - writing a word while visually representing it's opposite. I created these while working on my sophomore year portfolio at SVA. I had a line in my book that said, "I love typography. It hates me." That was my starting point for this. I liked adding a little humor to the insane process of creating my second year portfolio.
